Video at Geneva: Fiat Freemont is the first fruit of the Chrysler deal
So far all we’ve seen of the Fiat/Lancia/Chrysler cross-pollination is a load of rebranded Lancia models, which will be sold as Chryslers. However, this is the first Chrysler product that has been re-branded as a Fiat.
Called the Fiat Freemont, it’s basically a lightly revised version of the seven-seater Dodge Journey, fitted with Fiat’s 2.0-litre diesel engine that’s offered in 138bhp and 168bhp states of tune.

The only cosmetic changes to the car are a new grille, bumper and taillights. The Freemont will go on sale in Europe later this year, but Fiat has yet to confirm UK imports.
